Metu System® two-cover airtight cleaning and inspection doors

In case of dusty or even greasy air duct the access to the inner surfaces of the air duct is a basic requirement. The application of special equipment, the professional cleaning agents (in many cases still it is missing) alone is not is not sufficient, if the contaminated surfaces cannot be properly accessed. Even flooding cannot gain adequate result, because the air ducts frequently pass above expensive suspended ceilings of hotel rooms, which are in danger of leaking, not to speak about the huge quantity of water, regarding that the air duct systems can not be considered to be perfectly sealed at all. In addition the tenacious contamination burned-on requires direct mechanical affection.
In the course of our work we sorry to note that the cleaning and inspection doors are “forgotten” even from the relatively recent-installed conditioning technics systems, not thinking of the fact that the system that is of course brand new upon starting later will require cleaning (in case of greasy kitchen it occurs surprisingly soon). As their name suggest these doors also enable that the operator can inspect the condition of the air ducts any time and last but not least the result of our work can be checked literally cleanly and easily.
The METU access doors we distribute and install  cove the full range of our air ducts types and sizes, regardless of whether they are made of flat, curved, insulated, galvanized sheet, aluminium, stainless steel, or in fire resistant design. The access through the doors of proper size is to the air duct is also possible. We also strongly emphasise the fact that the installation of the doors means only a single expense, which costs look small compared to a major conditioning technics investment, so a little forethoughtfulness can eliminate a lot of troubles during the subsequent operation and maintenance.

In addition special designs are also available, for example those made of aluminium, stainless steel (utilisation in food industry, aggressive environment), and/or with heat resistant (up to +400°C) fittings, special gasket and with metal and/or ceramic knobs.
Consistent with reason for the oval ducts, those are spread less in our country, but proved suitable from the point of view of building services engineering BOTH THE curved and the flat cleaning and inspection doors can be used on the relevant sides.
